What would you like to learn?

I want you to tell me, and the entire TeachExcel community, what topics most interest you in Excel.

Tutorials can now be created and uploaded by anyone and I want to make sure that we are actually uploading content that will be helpful to you.

In the comments below, tell me what topics you are most interested in; it could be charts and graphs, PivotTables, lookup functions, vba/macros, userforms, finance formulas, or anything dealing with Excel.

The topics with the most interest will be first in line for creation and upload to the site.

DIM I’m basically a self taught macro/vba user. From things I read, using the macro recorder and coping code that I searched for on the internet, I have developed a few complex spreadsheets uses complex formulas, timing intervals and pricing usage based on time of day and/or day of week. However any code that I wrote by myself, I did not use any DIM statements. This is because I initially did not know what they were used for and I also realized that they do not seem to be required. My question is ‘do they really make a difference if I use them or not?’ If so would I benefit by going back into my code and adding the DIM statements that are missing. A definition of each type and when to use them would be a great asset to me and maybe many others like me. Thank You

I would like to learn how to write VBA to use with combo boxes. Such as, how do you write the code to assign the data to go to specific cells in a data sheet depending on what is selected in the combo boxes.
I just can’t figure it out.
    Appreciate any help,
    Donna Morgan

Exchange on-site basic integration with OneDrive, SharePoint and Azure, for instance, our most popular setup is Exchange 2016+OOS we would love to be able to integrate with OneDrive for document collaboration, this would be a real revenue generator as well as be very helpful in showing a practical use of cloud-based services and how it these tools benefit the client. No matter what the media perception is, business are still very uncomfortable with the cloud, even we are.

When I execute VBA on a file from my desk top, it works fine.
I then save the file to SharePoint, when I execute the VBA on the down loaded file from SharePoint, sometimes the code hangs up and I have to try multiple times before it works. Any ideas

Perhaps it is better to ask this on a sharepoint specific forum. You can try asking in our Forum though, maybe someone there has more experience with sharepoint than I.
